Conkling Hall is taking precautions to protect our community.
Community centers, halls, and other multi-use community facilities support a wide range of local activity. However, their communal nature also makes them places that are vulnerable to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Currently we are cautiously organizing public events and hall usage. After studying numerous reports, guidelines and government restrictions, we are developing measures to safely allow small group usage of the hall on a Board-reviewed basis.
Anyone entering the Hall, or participating in a Conkling Hall event indoors or outdoors, will be required to follow NY State guidelines, as they stand on the day of the event. These guidelines do change, so Board Members, Visitors, and Volunteers may be asked to do one or more of the following:
maintain a social distance of 6’.
wear a mask indoors, even if vaccinated.
wear a mask outdoors when maintaining a social distance of 6’ is not possible.
complete this form before entering the Hall or participating in a Conkling Hall event outdoors.
complete our Contact & Health Screening Form at the door when they visit the Hall.
As always, you are encouraged to wash your hands and/or use sanitizer upon entering the premises.
Currently anyone organizing an event must consult with a board member before using the Hall to discuss the nature of their usage and the additional safety and cleaning measures that will be necessary.
