Multimedia Bach Concert

As a concert organist, Brian Hoffman has performed hundreds of concerts in the United States, including solo performances at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC and on “the world’s largest organ in a sacred space” the 380 rank organ at West Point Cadet Chapel. As a composer, he has written numerous works for choir, organ, and various ensembles. As a recording artist, he has recorded his original compositions, as well as organ works of J.S. Bach and Cesar Franck. His most recent project, begun during the pandemic of 2020, is the recordings of the complete organ works of J.S. Bach on organs from around the world via the Hauptwerk program.

The concert will consist of two multimedia performances:

1. “Bach And the Majestic Organ”

- organ performances of Bach’s most famous works

- a virtual video tour through the inside chambers of pipe organs on a large 5K screen

- imagery of incredible pipe organ facades from around the world

2. “Bach in Space”

- a virtual flight to the International Space Station on a large 5K screen

- stunning fly-over videos of Earth, set to the music of Bach, accompanied live by Brian Hoffman.

Doors open at 7:00, show starts at 7:30.

General Admission at $20, available online and at the door.
